The Responsibility of Open Lungs

The Responsibility of Open Lungs

see these eyes that once, shed

tears inwardly, from the rule of injustice tyranny,

watch them blink a little lighter, 50 years later in the rebound of 1972 post Roe family dinner,

where life mattered before, where

servants in Christ could never be poor, and

there is victory to be celebrated, congratulated in the value of life persevering for all, races

and their independent opinions, as

our sighs are defended in the law of bodily autonomy for all, where conception

can be safe miracles again, where

hope can once more lead the charge to water with love, that

is where we can breathe a little easier, sing a little freer, and dance a little truer, as

the echo of these upheld hearts and lungs, souls and minds, can join in

the timeless fruit where the baseline of strength can blossom in,

fair to all

free to all

believed in all
