Pro-Lifers: Hold the Line

Students for Life of America held their summit after approximately 600,000 marched in

Washington, DC in the first March for Life following the Dobbs v Jackson decision last summer.

The theme this year was unstoppable.

It goes without saying that pro-lifers are a force to be reckon with. The movement is diverse,

young, and bold. It has endured so much over the years that now is the time to not stop the

progress made in the last half a century.

Kristan Hawkins opened with the analogy of the Battle of the Bulge. Like the Nazi regime, the

abortion industry saw last summer’s landmark decision as their last stand. At the same time,

pro-lifers have received encouragement to keep going and to press the attack.

Though the enemy will not give up, we must continue to be on the attack and at times defense.

The hard work is coming. Most of it has happened last year with pregnancy centers firebombed

and churches vandalized. Some pro-lifers were even attacked, stalked, and even doxed. These

may cause us to retreat and hide. When it happens, the enemy will have a chance to

strengthen.

As 2023 is in full swing, let us make it our own objective in this fight against abortion to hold the

line. Let us complete our mission to build a culture of life. Let us double down on our pro-life

convictions.

The Dobbs decision was just the beginning. We must rally together to achieve total victory.
